Our Southwest Florida Blue Star Mother FL4 Chapter received a beautifully designed and crafted Patriotic Quilt from Quilter Elaine Stone along with the help of her neighbors.

We truly appreciate the generous support of our community towards our efforts to reach out and comfort our America Gold Star Mothers. This handmade Patriotic Quilt will be presented to a Gold Star Mother in Southwest Florida during a time of need. We thank Elaine, Ginny, Charlene and Jean for their donation and their hours of hard work, talent and support towards our Gold Star Mother in Florida.

Sarasota National Cemetery Wreaths Across America 2013

Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor those who have given so much to secure our freedom.

President of American Gold Star Mother Tampa Bay Chapter, Toni Gross, spoke Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Sarasota National Cemetery to bring awareness to Floridians of who the American Gold Star Mothers are, along with who the Silver Star Mothers and Blue Star Mothers of America represent as well.

Toni Gross lost her only son U.S. Army Corporal Frank R. Gross on July 16, 2011 in Afghanistan from an enemy IED while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
